The Bridal Kanjeevaram
Pure mulberry silk, hand-woven with gold and silver zari — the flagship weave of the South, built to last three generations.
EnquireFashion that never fades.
Four decades of Kanjeevaram, Mysore and Banarasi silks — hand-woven by master craftsmen, curated for the women who carry heritage with grace.
What began as a single atelier on JC Road has grown into one of Karnataka's most trusted silk houses — and yet, little has changed. The hands are still the same. The standard, unwavering.
Each saree is chosen for a reason — a motif, a border, a weight of silk that behaves a certain way when it drapes. These are the collections that have defined us.
Pure mulberry silk, hand-woven with gold and silver zari — the flagship weave of the South, built to last three generations.
EnquireThe quiet luxury of Karnataka — pure crepe mulberry with a whisper of zari. Lightweight, fluid, endlessly elegant.
EnquireWoven in Varanasi, drawn from Mughal-era motifs — katan and organza brocades for receptions and festivals.
EnquireLehengas, gowns and heirloom silks commissioned for the most important day — designed in-house, finished by hand.
EnquireRaw tussar, double-cloth organza and hand-block cotton — the quiet half of our wardrobe, for lighter occasions.
EnquireParty wear, Indo-Westerns, gowns and bespoke ensembles — our in-house studio, reimagining the occasion wardrobe.
EnquireIn 1983, we opened our doors on JC Road with a single belief: that a saree is not a garment — it is an inheritance. Four decades later, nothing about that belief has softened.
We work directly with the weavers of Kanchipuram, Mysore and Varanasi. We insist on pure mulberry silk and tested zari. We sign for every bolt of fabric that enters our floor. And when a piece is wrong — a thread tension off, a motif slightly untrue — it goes back to the loom, because our name travels with it.
— The Shakthi Silk Route Atelier
“A Bangalore institution. The kind of store where the staff know the weight of every silk on the wall — and remember your mother.
Step in, take a seat, and let our consultants bring the looms to you. No appointment is required — but for bridal, we do recommend one.
